SquarePeg provides live 1-on-1 language classes with an assigned teacher, interactive materials organized by CEFR level (A1–C2), conversation practice, and a scheduling platform. By creating an account and using the platform you agree to these Terms.
Your account is created when you complete the intake survey. Access to classes and materials remains paused until the SquarePeg team confirms your enrollment (payment received or other agreed condition). You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
Payments are made by transfer according to the instructions shown in the platform. SquarePeg does not process or store card data: we manually confirm each payment received before activating access. Plan prices are calculated from your starting level, target level, and chosen weekly hours, and may be updated; the price at the time of your purchase applies to your plan.
You book your time within your assigned teacher's open slots, or through a recurring plan with a fixed weekly time. Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to the notice policy communicated by your teacher or the SquarePeg team.
With your consent, some classes may be recorded by your teacher and analyzed using AI tools (transcription and estimation of fluency, CEFR level, and feedback) for the exclusive use of the teacher and academic team. Results of this analysis are not shown directly to the student inside the platform. You can withdraw consent for future recordings at any time by writing to the SquarePeg team.
Materials, exercises, and platform content are for your personal learning use. You may not redistribute, resell, or publish course content without SquarePeg's prior written permission.
You can cancel your account at any time by writing to the SquarePeg team. SquarePeg may suspend or cancel an account's access in the event of a breach of these Terms, sustained non-payment, or misuse of the platform.
SquarePeg provides the service "as is." AI-generated level estimates and feedback are advisory and do not replace a human teacher's assessment. To the extent permitted by law, SquarePeg is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, where SquarePeg is based. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated by email or within the platform.
